HOW TO KNOW JESUS
Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important decision you will ever make. Jesus Christ will change your life in ways you could never have imagined. He is the source of life and in Him is life.
- Realize that God loves you. John 3:16 Says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but hath everlasting life. “Substitute your name in the places that are underlined above. God loves you and He has demonstrated that love through the person and work of His Son Jesus. God created you and wants to have a meaningful relationship with you. God has a plan and purpose for your life.
God wants you to have real lasting hope, peace, and joy. Things that the world cannot give you. - Recognize that sin has separated us from God.
Romans 3:23 tells us, “For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
The Bible tells us that we have all chosen to go our own way, to do our own thing, instead of following God, His commands, and His perfect will for our lives. When we do this we sin, and sin carries a high price tag.
Romans 6:23 says, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
God’s Word also says that sin must be paid for.
“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23
Wages mean payment. The payment of our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever. If we continue in our sin, we shall die without Christ and be without God forever.
We deserve death and hell because of our sin, but God does not want to give us what we deserve, God wants to give us what we do not deserve, namely forgiveness of sin, peace with Him, hope, inner peace, joy, eternal life, and a home in heaven.
The Good News is that Christ paid for our sins.
All our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. Jesus’ blood was spilt for our sin. His blood applied washes away all of our sin. He paid our sin-debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, and He arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Jesus provides the only way to have all of these. Do you want forgiveness of your sin and peace with God?
- Respond to God’s only provision for sin.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, NO ONE comes to the Father but through me. John 14:6. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other Name (Jesus) under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved. We cannot get into heaven or have peace with God through our own efforts. The only way to God is through the Son, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.”(You cannot save yourself through your own efforts.)Do you want to know Jesus and experience true meaningful life? If yes, tell God you are sorry for your sin, that you believe that He (Jesus) died for you, and rose again, and ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior, and you have God’s word that you will be saved. We must personally pray and receive Christ by faith.
The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

1Corinthians 15:1 -4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Will you at this time invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life? Yes or No?
If you answered “yes” to all the above questions pray, ask for forgiveness and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior?
Once you have placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, it’s time to live for Him.
